As a gift to myself on my 45th birthday, I decided to hire a personal trainer. Home training has been the BEST for me. Shelby is always 100% professional, arriving on time, knowing her stuff, planning the workout with written notes for my weekly hour with her. She remembers the exercises I like and the ones that don't work so well for my temperamental elbow. While she's all about the workout, she also is fun-loving and willing to lend me a supportive ear when I'm blowing off steam from those hectic Mondays at work. (Shelby is in fact the ONLY good thing about Mondays!)...I feel better toned, am much more conscious of healthy eating, and continue to value that one hour each week that's my hour for taking care of myself. Shelby's become a vital part of our family and a special friend. As I turned 50 this year, the work I've done with her makes this a time of celebration instead of doom and gloom.

Shelby did a great job designing a fitness program for my specific needs. Shelby has been my Personal Trainer for six years. She is the best - as a trainer and as a person. She has pushed me hard to achieve the results that I said I wanted, even when I was not sure the goal was attainable. She has encouraged me when I was disheartened and been patient when the rest of my busy life left no time for the cardio I needed to do. Many times I have dragged myself to the gym, dreading the next hour, and asked Shelby for an easy workout. She would listen, get me going, and before I knew it, I was working hard and the hour was nearly over. I have never left the gym regretting that I came. Shelby is knowledgeable about diet and physiology. She has created routines that work around any injuries I have had (none of them from working out) and helped me to strengthen those muscles during recovery. Thanks to Shelby, I am in better shape than at any prior period in my life.
